Causality ♾️

This weekend I noticed how one thing leads to another, to another, to another, ad infinitum.  You may call it the principle of causality, the law of cause and effect or the consequences of action. A few weeks ago, I came across and subscribed to the BusinessTO newsletter while working on a project for a client. Given my entrepreneurial aspirations in the city, I should have already been subscribed to the newsletter, but I wasn’t. I subscribed, hoping to be notified of pertinent information to do with the project. While waiting for the information to arrive, I learned about the Nia Centre for the Arts and took an interest in their mission and programming. When I couldn’t sign up for their free 7-week summer printmaking program because I didn’t live in the prerequisite neighbourhood, I decided to attend a drop-in session instead. There, I learned the basics of printmaking and left with a reusable tote bag I printed to replace one I had lost and desperately needed to replace in a city that no longer provides plastic bags. Most importantly, I made an important connection and learned about an opportunity I would never have heard of had I not booked a client at the time that I did and subscribed to the BusinessTO newsletter on a whim while doing some research. Haters will say, I read too much into everything 🙃
